  • Where is the Photography Studio located?

    The Studio is located at the north end of downtown Tampa at 1213 N Franklin Street, Tampa FL 33602.

  • Do you require appointments?

    Studio Headshot Sessions are by appointment only. Tuesday evening from 5:30 and 8:30pm Wednesday evening from 5:30 and 8:30pm Saturday from 9am -1pm If you need a specific date / time we can work on scheduling with some advanced notice.

  • How do you book an appointment?

  • Do you offer hair and makeup?

    While we don’t offer hair and makeup service directly to our clients, we do have a list of vetted artists we work with that we would be glad to recommend to you. All booking and payment is done directly with the artist. While you are scheduling your photoshoot with us, you can contact one of the stylists to make your hair and makeup appointment.

  • Is the Photography Studio located in your home?

    No, Freeway Photo LLC is a Corporate Business Located in a zoned business condo in Downtown Tampa. We undestand the importance of operating a licensed business and can provide you with proper licnese / tax and insurance information if needed.

  • Do you offer Family, Newborn or Maternity Sessions or Weddings?

    I do not, however I can refer you to someone local if you are looking for photographers.

  • I only need two shots for LinkedIn - do you offer mini-sessions?

    I only offer full-length headshot sessions. I believe that your photo shoot should not be rushed — I want you to truly enjoy our time together and settle into the experience! The difference in expressions between the beginning and end of the session is truly remarkable. I find that when you have time to settle into the session and get used to the camera and me, we’re able to create more authentic headshots. 

  • Do you retouch my photographs?

    Yes, I perform all of the retouching and do not sub out any of the work. I will perform minor retouching and processing of photos in Adobe's Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop, which are the industry standard for editing and processing photographs. This includes removing minor blemishes, doing color correction and minor skin smoothing, and adjusting clarity and vibrance. This does not include narrowing or slimming down body parts, head swapping, or eliminating wrinkles or any other further edits.

  • Will you help me with posing for my headshot?

    Absolutely! I will coach you through the posing process and help you convey your personality or brand through various expressions, postures, positions and angles.

  • How long does a headshot session take?

    Including clothing changes and photograph review time:  

    • One Looks Session generally last around 30-45 minutes
    • Two Look Sessions tend to last around 45-60 minutes and
    • Three Look Session between 1 ½ Hours and two hours

  • Arrive hair & makeup ready (women)

    You should arrive hair and makeup ready to allow as much time for coaching and getting you in front of the camera. You will have to make adjustments to your hair and apply any touchup makeup for women. 

  • How should I prepare for my headshot session?

    Once you confirm with us, you will receive a link to a page that includes extensive guides on how to prepare for your shoot, including tips on makeup, grooming, what to wear, etc. 

  • How and when do I pay for the session?

    For individual transactions, we accept Credit Cards (Visa/Mastercard/American Express/Discover) and Cash. Credit cards can be used at the time of your session and payment is due at the end of your shoot.  Corporate sessions can be invoiced and paid via deposit / check.

  • What’s your policy for rescheduling?

    Please give me at least 72 hours notice if you need to reschedule; otherwise, you will be subject to loss of your deposit.

  • Can I also include a full length portrait with my headshot session?

    Yes you can add a full length look to you package. There is an additional cost because full length portraits are more difficult to produce. This is an option you can add when booking your photo session online. 

  • How many retouched photographs do I get?

    Each package comes with one or more fully retouched photos. One Look =1, Two Look =2 & Three Look = 3

    • This includes removing minor blemishes, doing color correction and minor skin smoothing, and adjusting clarity and vibrance.
    • This does not include narrowing or slimming down body parts, head swapping, or eliminating wrinkles or any other further edits.
    • You can purchase additional photographs to be retouched and you can pay for them at the end of your session.

  • Do you offer black & white versions of my photographs?

    You can choose to have your photos in color, black and white, or both. Just let me know during your session. 

  • Do you provide digital or physical prints ?

    As a digital photography business, we do not offer prints. We recommend doing research online to find a printing services that offers the types of prints you want at the price you are willing to pay. We often recommend Tiny Prints to our clients.

  • Do I own the photos?

    Absolutely, you paid for them.

  • Do I own the rights to my photos?

    Copyright law in the United States maintains that the photographer retains the copyright to any images he takes. I give you a license to reproduce the images on your own. So I still retain the copyright, but you have a license to use the photos freely print as many copies as you like.

  • Will the photographs you take of me be used anywhere else?

    Yes. I retain the right to use the images in my online portfolios, and for self-promotional materials for my photography business. Being able to showcase my work is essential for me to attract more clients and provide great service at a reasonable price. This is standard practice and is in accordance with copyright law. However, if privacy is a big issue for you, please let me know and we can work something out.
